It was suggested that I take Field to doggy day care. Partially to just burn some energy, and partially so that he can have an opportunity to play with other dogs. Since he and Winston do not play together (Winston is terribly unfond of the puppy antics), Field needs to learn appropriate play.
I took Field on Thursday for the first time, and he had a blast. He apparently NEVER stopped moving, and was very social. That's our boy!!!
And, the best part, he was exhausted in the evening, so he was quiet and calm - well, he was really just sleeping! So, this is something he will be doing more often. Hope it continues to go well.

Welcome to the Family
Field is nine months old now, so it is really time he has a web presence, just like Winston.
Field - full name Donnchada By Request Viscount of Alamein - joined our family in late December of 2009. I always said I didn't want a winter puppy, but he potty trained quickly in the snow!
So far we have attended Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy Obedience, Puppy Foundation (twice - more about that later) and even some private lessons.
All centered around getting some "control" of this Heathen demon Dog - as I like to call him.
I said I wanted more drive than Winston has - what I got was insanity!!
Follow along with us as I train and trial this amazing boy!
